1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a membership, using our data removal services, or interacting with our website, you agree to abide by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of our services.

2. Services Provided

Liberty-Shield provides online privacy and data protection services, including but not limited to:

  • Identifying public exposure of personal information.
  • Requesting removal or suppression of information from data broker sites and other public sources.
  • Membership plans for ongoing monitoring, audits, and privacy protection.
  • Resources, guides, and tools to help you manage your online presence.

We may expand, update, or discontinue features at any time to improve our offerings.

3. Membership & Billing

  • Memberships are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) until canceled.
  • You may cancel at any time through your account dashboard.
  • We do not offer refunds for partially used subscription periods.
  • Price changes, if any, will be communicated in advance.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse our website or services. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to:

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
  • Using our services for illegal, harmful, or fraudulent activities.
  • Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing our services without written permission.
  • Submitting false, misleading, or unauthorized requests for data removal.

Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund.

5. Limitations of Service & Liability

Liberty Shield provides services designed to reduce the exposure of personal data, including but not limited to data broker deletions, biometric and facial recognition suppression, spam reduction measures, and dark web scans. While Liberty Shield employs commercially reasonable efforts and industry-standard practices, the following limitations apply:

  • Liberty Shield does not and cannot guarantee the complete or permanent removal of personal information from all sources, data brokers, or platforms.
  • Liberty Shield cannot ensure the universal suppression of biometric or facial recognition profiles across all technologies and services.
  • Liberty Shield cannot guarantee the total elimination of spam communications, including but not limited to calls, text messages, and emails.
  • Liberty Shield cannot guarantee the detection of every instance of compromised personal data on the dark web or in any other unauthorized repositories.

Results of Liberty Shield’s services may vary depending on the compliance of third-party platforms, data brokers, carriers, and other entities outside of Liberty Shield’s control. By utilizing Liberty Shield’s services, the client acknowledges and agrees to these limitations.

6. Communication & Notifications

  • By creating an account, you consent to receive service-related emails, including account updates, confirmations, and alerts.
  • You may manage marketing communication preferences at any time.
  • Certain critical communications (e.g., security notices, billing updates) are required and cannot be opted out of.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content, software, branding, and materials on the Liberty-Shield website and services are owned or licensed by Liberty-Shield.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

8. Termination

  • You may terminate your membership at any time through your dashboard.
  • Liberty-Shield may suspend or terminate access to services if you violate these Terms or engage in misuse.
  • Termination does not relieve you of obligations for payments already due.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation.
  • If unresolved, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration under California law.
  • Class actions and jury trials are waived to the extent permitted by law.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in services, practices, or laws. Updated versions will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of changes.
